Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will be met by a representative from our company. After that, it’s a 60 minute drive to Arusha. Check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.
Meet your driver in the hotel lobby after breakfast. Board your safari vehicle for a trip to the Serengeti National Park.
The Serengeti is one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders, and it is home to all of Africa’s large predators as well as some stunning river crossings. You can enjoy the scenery while eating a delicious picnic meal on a kopje (small hill in a generally flat area). Following that, we’ll head to the Serengeti for a wildlife drive. With large herds of buffalo and wildebeests, groups of elephant and giraffes, eland, impala, and Grant’s gazelle, as well as lions, leopards, and other predators, the Serengeti offers some of the best game viewing in Africa.
After breakfast, depart the lodge for a safari to Serengeti National Park, where you will spend another night exploring and enjoying the boundless plain. The Serengeti National Park is huge, covering nearly 12,000 square miles. It is Tanzania’s oldest park and the world’s most complicated environment. The flora and fauna are nearly identical to what they were hundreds of years ago.
Serengeti National Park has a lot to offer and will keep you busy. Seronera Valley is one of the greatest sites to see large predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas. On any given day, you can witness elephants, zebras, elephants, giraffes, wildebeest, and a variety of other animals.
After breakfast, prepare for an en-route game drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a 20-kilometer-wide crater with a depth of 600 meters. Inside the Crater Wall, you can go on game drives. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world’s largest complete calderas and one of Africa’s most magnificent views.
This beautiful caldera is home to the Big 5: Rhino, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, and Elephant, as well as Zebra, Wildebeest, and Hyena. Flamingos can be seen on Soda Lake, as well as geese, storks, and vultures, among other bird families. In the evening ascending the Crater walls and driving to Karatu for dinner and sleep.
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park at 8 a.m., passing through spectacular rift Valley escarpments. Just before the park entrance, you’ll see Masai grazing their livestock and goats as you travel through Mto wa Mbu, a small but bustling settlement known for its population of up to 120 clans and lively, colorful ambiance.
When you arrive at Lake Manyara, you’ll enter the park and begin your game drive, which will take you through lush forest before leading you out to open grassland and the lake’s side. With numerous endemic species, the birdlife in this area is a birdwatcher’s dream. Impala, elephants, dik-dik, bushbuck, hippos, and, if you’re lucky, the legendary tree climbing lions of Manyara, are among the species you can expect to encounter. Enjoy a day of game viewing and a picnic lunch in Lake Manyara. In the afternoon, drive return to Arusha for around two hours.
Depending on your flight time, our representative will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport to catch your flight back home on this day.
