Itinerary

Day 1Arrival at the International Kilimanjaro Airport

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport at any time (JRO). We’re going to arrange a private move from JRO to Arusha at the Arusha Cofee Cabin, where it’s open for the rest of the day. You can stay at the beautifully situated Arusha Cofee Lodge on the coffee farms, which is a great place to plan for your adventure. Our safari manager is coming to visit you and will provide you with a safari briefing followed by dinner.

Day 2Arusha National Park

You will be met by our tour guide/driver, who will deliver a short briefing on safari details, and then depart for Arusha National Park. A visit to Ngurdo Crater is included in your day trip. As well as many different bird species, you can see buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, zebras and baboons all year round. An armed ranger will be waiting for you at Momella Gate to accompany you on your walking safari, giving you the opportunity to experience the wildlife up close. Just a few other Tanzanian national parks offer you such an opportunity, and it’s something you shouldn’t miss out on.

Lunch will be served at the picnic area, and in the afternoon you will continue your tour of Arusha National Park in a safari vehicle. For dinner and overnight stay, we will drive back to Arusha Cofee Lodge after plenty of time allocated for you to observe the wildlife.

Day 3Arusha - Tarangire

Depart at 9 am from Arusha. We will be heading to Tarangire National Park for approximately two hours. This is Tanzania’s third largest park and it is distinguished by the amazingly large elephant herds that can be found in this park. One of the other highlights of Tarangire is the Baobab trees and the Tarangire River that flows throughout the year is the park’s life blood. Many species, predators and prey alike, gather around the river where you can watch great games.

Dinner and overnight stay will continue with your drive to Lake Manyara Serena Lodge later.

Enjoy a walk with your own armed ranger in one of the many excellent regions of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, who will give you advice on the ecology of the area. This is a walking trail around the surface of the biggest unbroken caldera in the world. It provides beautiful views down into the crater, passes through woodland, scrubland, and then opens into wavy grassland. Masai are seen occasionally, herding their cattle. Commonly seen wildlife is zebra, gazelle. Less often, a leopard crossing the path or buffalo sounds in the distance, Its fun walk to see birds.

Day 4Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, we will proceed to the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive, which is the world’s 8th natural wonder and the most abundant wildlife special, world renowned caldera. We will descend into the Ngorongoro crater floor. You will enjoy incredible panoramic views from the comfort of your open-top car, descending down the crater, and if you are lucky, you will see the Big Five. More than 120 species of mammals are found in the Caldera. Salt lakes like Lake Magadi, which is a lure for flamingos and other water birds, can also be visited.

We’ll see ponds full of hippos, the last black rhinos of endangered East Africa, and birds like secretary birds, white storks coming from Europe during the wet season, kori bustards, crowned cranes, and ostriches. It is definitely a landscape of pure beauty. The dense population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which often takes a professional eye to find, is another major draw card for this picturesque park. You will have a picnic lunch in the park after the thrills and excitement of the day. Afterwards, we will drive back to the lodge for the Crater Rim overnight stay.

Day 5Ngorongoro - Serengeti National Park

We will launch our drive past the unique and gorgeous Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the Serengeti National Park after breakfast at the Lodge. A emblem of the Serengeti national park is the bright and welcoming colors of the very heart of African wildlife. “As the wildebeest embark on the most important journey of their lives, the most intriguing, yet amazing natural legend of the timeless African landscape rolls before your eyes: the amazing migration, which is often referred to as the “eighth wonder of the world.

We will then head to the area known as the Seronera area of the central park. This region provides wild animals with a range of habitats, the most important of which is the river Seronera, which is the main attraction for game herds and predator families, since it is a rich source of water to quench their thirst. For this reason, it is possible to find the vast majority of animal species in the Serengeti National Park here, so it would be a sin not to rest and observe animals in their natural environment.

We’ll travel along the Sogore River circuit south of the Seronera River to search for Thompson’s gazelles, tops, ostriches, and likely predators as well, such as lions or cheetahs.

Serengeti Sopa Lodge, in the heart of the Serengeti National Park, for dinner and overnight.

The breeding sites for the Cheetah, Lion, Leopard and Wild Dog are these Rocks. You will see the Lions relaxing on top of the rocks as you visit, some of which have been named Simba Kopjes.
